Fresh Food Market Joins Lighthouse Point in Staten Island
Commercial Observer
Triangle Equities has secured a 15-year lease for a 7,000-square-foot fresh food market—part of the 65,000-square-foot commercial component at Lighthouse Point, the firm’s transformative waterfront development in St. George. Located at 35A Bay Street, the market will expand access to healthy and affordable food on Staten Island’s North Shore, a USDA-designated food desert, while creating a new neighborhood amenity steps from the ferry terminal.
The market joins coworking operator Spaces, which signed a 30,000-square-foot lease, as well as additional retail and office tenants that make up the mixed-use development's commercial base. Lighthouse Point’s first phase also features 116 residential units (20% affordable), nearly one acre of public waterfront space, and a 300-space parking garage—strengthening the site’s role as a new focal point of live-work-play activity.
In line with Triangle’s mission to deliver lasting community value, the fresh food market underscores the firm’s commitment to equitable development, supporting local access to quality food options while anchoring broader neighborhood revitalization efforts.
