Triangle Plaza Hub

Overview

Triangle Plaza Hub exemplifies a successful public-private partnership between Triangle Equities and the City of New York, aimed at revitalizing the South Bronx through strategic urban development. Selected via a competitive RFP process administered by the New York City Economic Development Corporation (EDC), the project delivers a mixed-use retail and office facility that aligns seamlessly with the Bronxchester Urban Renewal Plan and the City's broader South Bronx Initiative.

This innovative hub enhances community vitality by incorporating key amenities, such as a dedicated campus for the Metropolitan College of New York, a vibrant public plaza at the bustling intersection of Bergen Avenue and East 149th Street, and a Fine Fare supermarket addressing food access needs in an underserved area under the City's Food Retail Expansion to Support Health (FRESH) program. To optimize site efficiency in a dense urban environment, the development includes rooftop parking for 83 vehicles, freeing valuable ground-level space for retail and office functions while promoting accessibility and economic growth.
