The site was acquired from the Flower Market Association of New York, who had struggled with construction related to foundation challenges resulting from the sites location in a marshy area.
Triangle Equities began construction of the Queens center with the space 100% leased to tenants including Old Navy, Modell's, Babies 'R Us and Mcdonalds. Tenancies have changed overtime, but the property remains a premier site in one of the busiest retail sections of Northern Queens on 20th Ave.

Acquire and transform a failed construction project that had begun sinking upon initial erection of steel into a community serving retail center.
The Results
Delivered new retail hub driving local economy
Obtained City approval, along with necessary special permit to allow for retail uses, to acquire, remediate and construct an 80,000 SF building creating substantial economic development for College Point. For over 30 years, the property has contributed to one of the most vibrant retail corridors in Queens.
