The Arches at Cobble Hill

Overview

At the corner of Hicks and Warren Streets in Brooklyn, the 1.5 acre property was previously the site of the historic St. Peter's Church, its rectory, and four-story school building. Triangle Equities purchased the property with the vision of converting the existing structure to a residential condominium building.

While keeping the load-bearing walls and columns in place, Triangle Equities more than doubled the building's overall square footage from 40,000 SF to 90,000 SF by adding new floors to allow for more appropriate ceiling heights, followed by a small extension to the rectory. Increasing the floor plan while maintaining the original footprint allowed for the creation of 59 residential condominium units at a landmarked site.
